March 2012: St. Baldrick's

Ryan made us very proud this month. He decided to shave his (very long) hair off, in support of his friend and schoolmate, Kaden, who was diagnosed with bone cancer in his leg.

We were familiar with the event as our friends, The Montemurnos, have been involved for a few years in support of Seany Boy, who is a cancer survivor! We've gone almost every year and cheered on "shavees,"and donated money.

But this year Ryan understood the importance, and wanted to shave, unsolicited! He and his friends  shaved, along with lots of other people, and raised money. I'm thrilled to report that Kaden is doing well.
